Foundation Mission

​The Masters League Foundation for Boys equips, develops, empowers, and engages young men with the character development, life skills, and the career explorations needed to lead with character, serve their communities, and confidently navigate the transition from home to college and beyond.

 Foundation Sponsorship and Acceptance

  • The foundation will sponsor (12) boys per year

  • The foundation will seek applications from the beginning of the students 10th grade – 12th grade.

  • The foundation will choose winners from recommendation letters, student essays, and student interview for the program.

  • The foundation will host and gala event each year to celebrate the winners, and showcase the work and achieves in the program.

What We Do

  • Serve as a sponsor to help and empower minority boys ages 14 – 18 by assisting in preparing them to attend college

  • Assist minority boys by supplying them with the skills, and tools needed to gain acceptances into top universities

  • Assist in finding community volunteer opportunities hours with organizations within the community to enhance college acceptance

  • Offer public speaking opportunities

  • Assist with offering a college scholarship to minority boys that are accepted into the program.

  • The foundation will work with Wake Forest, Duke, WSSU, UNC, and NC State to assist with student acceptance

Foundation Career Shadowing Development Opportunities

  • The foundation will offer boys in the program the opportunity to career shadow to gain an understanding of the careers they are interested in.

  • The foundation will partner with organizations to seek job shadowing opportunities for minority boys.

  • The foundation will offer Toastmasters public speaking opportunities for boys to prepare them for college.
